Female Characters

Lara Croft is a female main character from the popular game Tomb raider with male abilities being fit, strong and a girl with power. She’s is presence as a female lead in a very male dominated world game. In the game you play as Lara Croft and you control and go with her through dangerous levels. The game sold 0ver 28 million, however in the past years people have questioned how Lara Croft is portrayed, as people feel that girls can never be Lara Croft and even turns people off playing video games so Lara Croft has mix reaction as some people see her as a role model because there aren’t many leading female characters but some people think the things that she does is a bit unrealistic.

However the other game character that I picked was Anna Williams from Tekken, this character is Anna is sexy, sultry and curvy,wearing stylish outfits in matches likewise Lara Croft, this the first series of the game she only plays a minor role. She's a fighter like Lara Croft.

However I think that Anna Williams appeals more to the female audience as she is closer to what females are like than Lara Croft, both female character wear very little clothing, but I feel that Lara Croft appeals more to the male audience because of her male abilities.
